There is a new collection that proves that lines are meant to be crossed.
Plaid is by no means a new fad. In fact it’s one pattern that stands the test of time. It’s truly iconic thanks to designers continuously reinventing the way we wear it but let me tell you, this is plaid like you’ve never seen it before.
When you think of plaid what comes to your mind?
This is what makes this pattern so amazing. We each have our own unique ways of styling plaid and no way is right or wrong. Plaid is such a versatile pattern to play with so let’s get creative because today I’m showing you just how plaid has snuck its way into my everyday wardrobe. From me following the rules to breaking them, each style is unique and so fun to wear with confidence.
My first look is classy but nothing shy of bold. I love mixing different size plaid within this look and even adding an unexpected stripe clutch because why not?!
My second look is for the fashionista who is on the go. I think we don’t give hats enough fashion credit. Skip the solid conductor hats and go for one that can breathe life into your outfit. I got this adorable plaid one from Target. Yes, it’s plaid on plaid again but this time in a more subtile way. I told you breaking the rules is fun!
Do you love fringe but worry it’s too daring for your style? For this look I played with fringe and plaid in a subtile way by letting one piece be the main focus and adding hints of complimenting accessories like this adorable bucket bag. Did I mention this outfit is beyond cozy? Because it definitely is.
Will you play by the rules or break the rules with Target plaid? #TargetStyle and tag/tweet me photos because I’d love to see how you style plaid and how your personality shines through each look. Be on the lookout because these outfits are coming out in full 3 outfit posts next week and each post is stunning and quite plaid-tastic!! 😉 Special thanks to Target for sponsoring this post. Have a wonderful weekend ya’ll!
